Future Hosting, an Internet Solutions provider serving SMBs and enterprises internationally and the developer of Server Doctor™, announced today it has acquired FutureHosting.com, and will begin immediately rebranding its online presence under that name. The company previously operated as FutureHosting.biz.
In acquiring the new domain name, the Future Hosting has settled a dispute with the previous domain holder. Further details of the settlement are unavailable due to a Non Disclosure Agreement signed by both parties.
“The acquisition of the FutureHosting.com domain name is an important step forward to sustaining the long-term growth of our company. Although we have generated tremendous growth under the ‘.biz’ top level domain, we recognize there are a variety of key advantages associated with a ‘.com’ online presence. It is our belief that ‘.com’ will allow us to attract even more support from small businesses looking to get online for the first time,” said Vik Patel, Future Hosting president and CEO.
In its effort to rebrand, the company will update links and graphics on its internal and external marketing operations. It has also notified vendors to update advertisements and promotional literature to send traffic to the new domain name.
Future Hosting will remain accessible from FutureHosting.biz indefinitely.
Developed by Future Hosting, Server Doctor™ is a revolutionary system that provides a proactive approach to maintaining Virtual Private Servers-automating everything from account provisioning to weekly security scans.
